PROBLEM FIXED!! Apparently the yellow wire on the harness the connection was bad. And I am sure when I was removing the pins to re wire I must of damaged it. They soldered and put a new connector on the wire and it worked

Wtf, really? That makes zero sense.

The yellow write isn't actually hooked up any where for the non-mirror kit with RA2+ radio as a display. See my schematic in post 10.

They must have done something else. Do you have the moving grid lines too?

Fantastic ! Do you have the grid lines ?
The yellow wire , that's weird ? The yellow isn't even used in your application. It must have been shorted to the grey /blue video wire to the right of it . Glad your fixed up !

Here's where I found the Lin Bus CBC2 wire for the yellow wires application for the inside rearview mirror camera . Not sure what it's used for ?

I wonder if it's spliced inside the main camera body harness for some function for the mirror cam ? If it is spliced to power or ground that would explain no video signal ( if the yellow wire contact was damaged "like he stated" and shorted to the grey/blue video wire to its right .

I have a 2014 1500ST with the 7 speed blower set up , this is the bezel I have .

Seems odd to me that you can install many diff OEM kits. ( that your truck didn't come with ) and get the dealer to flash for it to operate 100% , but you can't get the code for an OEM RADIO upgrade ??

There is a way to do it and I have gotten it done for my RA4 but im under a NDA from chrysler in regard to it so sorry.

Installed Factory Tailgate Camera Kit, Now RA2 is froze

Hello,
Had the camera re-flash done, then I installed the factory Tailgate camera kit. Initially mis-wired the camera connector pins on the RA2 connector to pins 1-3 as I was interpreting the instructions wrong. Corrected this issue and now when the RA2 comes on it just shows "Uconnect" on the screen and will not function at all. I assume I need to have the system re-programmed, but I have read where others had made the same wiring mistake, corrected it and all was just fine. Any insight or assistance is greatly appreciated

Just wondering if you pulled out wires from locations 1-3 and if so if they are back in proper locations.

Does it match post 26?

Since you have a 2500, do you also have the short tailgate Wearout Extension cable?

I believe there is a way with a lock pick air or customtronics solution , I'm not positive . This has been discussed in other threads and the end results if I remember correctly the better option to view your load/what your pulling is the 3rd break light camera , it is ment to be turned on at will ...
There is a thread where this is discussed here for a cargo cam .
Cptwing has installed both and is much more up to speed than I .maybe he will chime in here .

Yep, others have reported that it is possible to see the cameras while driving using the CustomTronix or Lockpick solutions (Front Camera, Tailgate Camera, & 3rd Brake Light Camera). The Lockpick can add extra options for side mirror (turn signal) cameras, and auxillary video inputs such as DVD, TV Tuner, iPad, etc. But all that would need to be a separate thread.
