I'm watching the other thread too.
Swap Ra2 Radios?
Do you have the TechAuthority link for schematics?
Hate to end up at the dealer to figure it out. You sure all the pins are seated and in the correct locations.

Glad your watching ! I haven't swapped radios yet , I plan on it if I can find someone willing , hell it would only take 10 mins ..
I do have the tech authority link ( on my phone only I can't figure out how to follow forward of the BCM ? To see how the clockspring is involved and ultimately how that signal gets back to the camera so it can be displayed on the radio . I have crystal clear video image on my RA2 , Therfore I belive the radio is fine ... I'm thinking the signal from linbusCB3 from the BCM @OR/DKB wire socket 45 is not connected to the clockspring. I have verified continuity from the DISCONNECTED C-5 connector socket #45 (the BCM side) all the way to socket #2 of the camera's plug. Per tech authority's diagram of the Lin Bus for the backup.camera system.
The resistance read 2.3 ohms which I now think is high even though I'm ringing through 2ea connectors and my solder splice .
As a comparison of a good resistance reading I connected 3ea 100' extension cords together ( 2 connections & 300 feet of 12ga wire) rang .5 ohms only .
I have verified all wires are in the correct spot ; however , now I'm thinking not a proper seating or fit of pins and sockets on the Lin Bus signal or a.cold solder @ my splice. Or a diconnected signal between the BCM s backup cam linbus and the clockspring ?
LOL ! I have no intentions to go to the dealer , unless it's between the BCM and clockspring ( that should be warranty
For anyone's info : I've recently upgraded to the RA2 from the RA1 , installed another steering wheel with audio controls & VR/phone button , a factory mirror with microphones and header harness .
The backup cam kit is the OEM Tailgate camera kit aquired from my dealer .
Important to note all of my added on parts are real OEM Parts and everything I've been able to troubleshoot and verify has reflected exactly what tech authority has on my vin# by color and connector location .
