It’s a sad Ram story…
I bought a 2015 Ram. Tradesman in excellent condition with only 62K miles. Insurance on it is incredibly expensive & I was told that it’s ALWAYS higher for Dodge trucks. Sounds suspicious but that’s what I was told. I’ve been paying for liability insurance on a 1998 Ram 1500 for years but never realized. The full coverage on my newly purchased Ram Tradesman is more than $3,500 / year! Does this sound right to y’all?
The cost of insurance has several variables, credit score, the place you live, your age and miles driven each year. It’s a sad Ram story…

Your driving record and the area where you live are also factors when insurance companies are pricing policies ...
I am just over $2600 for the year for full on my 19 Bighorn with Comp/Collision/Un-insured and highest property protection per law at 500K. I also have an addendum to cover my 14' 2006 WW Stock trailer attached to my "auto" policy.I am also in the great state of Texas. For 2 Jeep GC Summit and a 19 BH, It is 10k a year for full coverage. 40% is for uninsured motorist coverage by the way. 40% Liability and 20% comp and collision.
