Is redline professional series engine oil okay to use

whats the difference between regular redline oil and the professional series? Found the professional series for a good price and free shipping but wanted to make sure it was still okay to use? Thanks guys.

Which weight oil are you planning to use? It looks like you have the 5.7 Hemi. Red Line has 5w30 and 5w40 in the pro series. the 5w30 is formulated for small diesel engines and then there is 5w40, I wouldnt use either in a 5.7.

I have the 5w30 regular redline full synthetic in my truck now cause it was recommended by a number of people on here. Made my motor much quieter.

You can use it many people use diesel oil in gas engines, but it is group 3 and 4 low ash stuff to my knowledge, so I would get a price from Nick on regular redline, I bet you it is with in a couple bucks of your deal and it is pao/ester based stuff. Their other 5w30 is time tested by a few ram owners, over 5 years by myself.

Okay thanks for your input. Just wasn’t sure what the difference was between regular and professional series, never saw the professional series before til just looking for prices on redline cause I’m about due for a oil change. Appreciate it!
