With this small dent in the front.
It’s off a 17 rebel, are those hoods aluminum or steel??
Thanks

Depends on whether or not you have a good friend that does body and paint work and whether it's buckled in the middle from the impact.

If it is aluminium I'd stay away. Bringing it back to shape it might crack.

Think of it this way....There's a reason it was removed from it's original vehicle and replaced. Being it's aluminum, it's probably not feasible or is too much trouble to properly fix. Cheaper/easier to replace, which is why you're being given a great deal of "only $250".
Unless you have a friend in the body shop business, you'll be sinking at least $500 to fix, maybe more. OEM hoods go for around $1100.

when I had my little incident with my truck and garage wall, they replaced the hood because you can't properly repair aluminum. just sayin

I'd pass. Someone probably already told the seller that it will crack which is why he's selling. :Pshyco:

Nope pass. Aluminum can be repaired however usually dual walled areas can not. The dent is on the front two body lines and more than likely goes into the front underside structure.

I've got a stock hood off 2011 Laramie. White, no dents or Nick's. Make me an offer.

You chose wisely . The hood is repairable. Would take a good two days to put in primer. The biggest thing is unless your set up to work on AL. Its easier to just stay away from it.

I have all the certification to work AL on fords. Couldn't get far enough from them.

After purchasing my 2019 Ram I called my insurance rep and asked why my insurance rate went up $240. The first thing she said was, "Is it a Ford?"
