It Didnt Fit!

my 17 limited did fit comfortably. The fifth gen would not so the garage was modified appropriately. Hinges removed and replaced with gorilla tape. Lock removed. Still didn't fit so I then partially raised the door and bent it outwards in a nice bow to increase the clearance. Now have 1/2 inch when I push the front into a pad on the wall. I've gotten my 3rd gen 3500 8' bed in but had to drive in one door and angle in 45 degrees to the far corner. The neighbors admitted later taking bets as they watched through the curtains. It was so cold and I needed to do work inside. Routed the dryer vent through the pet door for heat. Make it work designers...

I have the answer. Regular cab short box. None of this extended cab BS. Fits almost anywhere.

I agree except that you can't get that in a 3/4 ton..

my '19 laramie fits lengthwise in my detached garage but barely fits thru the 9' wide door..I have about 1.5-2" on each side at the mirrors so have to be careful coming and going..am hoping door is tall enough for new 2500 I'm shopping for
