Ok, so the truck is going through a few changes this week. Side steps came off, front and rear bumper are getting wrapped, and tails are getting tinted. Now that the only chrome left is the wheels and tips.....do I paint the tips or leave them alone?

You could always go the route of buying black 5” tips from Moes performance.

My exhaust tips are the last remaining chrome on my truck and I plan to buy 5” black tips soon myself

Not the best pic it’s the only one I currently have. Maybe more plastidip instead of paint. Since most of its hidden, a little plastidip with glossifier might do the trick.

From what I’ve seen and read, it does. Kinda surprises me but might be worth a shot.

I used Plastidip on my exhaust on my Express. Holding up good so far and its been on for almost 10k miles. I did the side exit pipe all the way up to and including the muffler since you could see it all a little bit, being bright silver on an all black truck.

Id leave them chrome. IMO if you "black out" your truck it will be like every other truck on the road.

To me a truck is like you, an individual and all these blacked out trucks look the same.

This of course is just my Opinion

Truck looks great.

I assume your asking about darkening the tips or not.

In your case I think you could make a case either way (leave or paint/buy black tips). From the rear everything is blacked out so it would look good. From the rear angle view the tips and chrome on you wheels tie in nice.

It’s your truck and ultimately your call. I have black tips to install but I have a Rebel with matte black bumper so tips will bled in nicely
