keyless entry change after flash

since I've had my truck I've only had to push the unlock button once to unlock all doors and tailgate.

since they did the recall flash on the BCM, and woke the radio up for the backup camera I now have to push it once to open the drivers door, and twice to open all others. this is how it is on all my other vehicles as well but I kind of liked the one push.

can anyone tell me if one push was normal or its always been 2 pushes and something just fixed in mine, or is there a setting somewhere for this.

Go into settings in your radio, then into doors and locks, at the bottom of the list you'll see the option to unlock just the driver's side or all locks on 1 press of your remote.

That's pretty typical for 1 press for driver's and 2 presses for all locks.

Just be warned that the "2 click" feature sucks. At least on my ram. And others have experience it as well. I sometimes have to hit the unlock button 3 or 4 times before all the doors are unlocked.

I'm in no way trying to be a Debbie downer but I just wanted to make sure you know about the issue so you aren't surprised if it happens.

This happens on many vehicles. Our Fusion has electroic locks ie no mechanical lock pin to see go up and down in the doors and we still have to hit the damn button 4 times.

I like the option that allows ALL doors to unlock when you open the drivers door after shutting the vehicle off. It's nice to have the RamBox's and tailgate unlock.
