I am trying to lower my 2003 ram the leaf springs are above the axle and I want to switch it to under would I need new leaf springs or could I use the same ones ? I do not know if the truck came like this or the previous owner made that modification. HELP lmao

AFAIK normal setup is leaf springs over the axle. Do some searching, it's a common mod to put the leaf springs on the bottom to lower the truck. You can use your existing springs, or you can fork out some crazy money for springs with a custom load capacity/spring rate.
