The leather above the screen in my 2022 Ram Limited is coming loose. Two different upholstery shops told me glueing it back would not work. Both said the only fix was to replace the dash. My extended Mopar warranty guy told me it was covered. The local Ram guy said it wasn’t. Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Of course the dealer will say that, they want you to pay them.
Go with the extended warranty guy since he’ll cover it. Have him contact the dealer on your behalf.
Also, carefully read your extended warranty policy. If you find the dashboard is covered, take the policy to the dealer and show them.
Personally, I’ve never seen an extended warranty cover a dashboard. That’s in over 25 years wrenching professionally.

I tried to get my 2022 dash replaced- same issue. Dealer said they have had to replace dozens due to the crappy glue used on the dashboard. So their "goodwill" gesture is for me to pay $1000 to get it replaced. It's a KNOWN defect and the dealer admitted that this is an issue and doesn't know why Dodge/Chrysler refuses to list it as a recall. It's crazy to pay over $70,000 for a truck and the dash fall apart because the glue doesn't work! This is our 3rd Dodge truck, but sadly I suppose will be our last. I used to think they stood behind their product. Apparently not. Seems like a big scam to me! I get one or two, but when a single dealer is regularly having to replace dashboards...

Just buy a "Dashskin" and cover it with high quality leather yourself and put it on top, that's what I'm about to do, it'll be around $200~ total. I guarantee what's on there now is just cheap split hide, at best.
