I've never seen this discussed before, so I thought I'd ask. If you buy a set of LED tail lights, what happens when an LED goes out? Regular tail lights, you just replace the bulb. Can you replace a single LED easily? Is it easy to find an LED that matches your lights? I know LED's last much longer than the standard light bulb, but I'd like to know what I might get myself into before I buy aftermarket lights.

from what I understand once it's out, it out, you need to replace the whole thing. But most quality led's will outlast your truck.

I'll let you know when an LED from my 2013 tails burns out. It might be a while. :)

Now, ebay lights? It's a gamble, due to spotty China quality, but generally LED's last "forever."

I have a set of KC LED Driving lights.. They perform very well but I lost the bottom half of one array (~10 LEDs) and I'm assuming they are wired in series. I have not dug into the head to see if that can be remedied in any way but ya, they likely are wired in series in other heads too for performance...

I had them on my truck ~2.5 yrs.

Theyre a ***** to get apart
I had a pair, one side only had a running light and no brake light while the other just fell of the truck cause the mounts were flimsy

Yup, you cant replace them..

I mean you could if you know how to solder, but it wouldn't be worth the time.
