I'll capture some street photos lighting up the road but that will be for another day.

Yeah see your low beams are still shielded with the high beams on. Mine aren’t like that. When my high beams are on the shield drops. I’ll grab a pick for you real quick

Its the auto enable high beam function. I can't get it to function properly. My high beams won't kick on. I have to pull lever to get them to light up.

I'll turn it off so I can turn the manual brightness on. It functions properly I promise you :D

This is the best I could do without pulling the truck out. Here’s my low and highs. I have 4 bulbs specifically for the highs. Notice the hot spot from the projector. Low means the hot spot significantly smaller with shield up then with the high beams on and the shield dropped the hot spot is huge. With a little extra light output from my to reflector bulbs.

I ordered the Morimoto LED housings so I’ll lose a lot of the intensity of the HIDs but I’ll have the longevity and reliability of LEDs without the terrible output.

I'll get you a high beam hotspot when I turn off automatic high beams function.

You have it on constantly? You can turn your *** all the way to the right to turn off the auto lights and auto high beams?

So long story short my sport truck has all the hardware to run the auto high beam enable function. However, it never worked coming off the dealer lot.

I have since purchased Alfaobd and enabled this function myself but for some reason the high beams won't kick on after enabling the auto function. I'm still missing a setting somewhere.

If i turn off the auto brightness and move the lever forward the brights/Lows kick on just like your photo.

Now if l can just figure out which setting I missed the truck can do it for me.

Here we go. This is the setting I need to fix.

My sensor connected to the rearview mirror.

Anyone which location this is for this module?

If I change it back to none I can manually turn the high beams on and I'll have the normal hotspot like your high beam photo.

Currently I have the wrong setting enabled so when I turn the brights on nothing happens except the display shows it's active and obviously by my pic it is not. Luckily I can reverse it.

Maybe it depends on year. could be a 2015+ feature. Mine is a 17.

Mine is a 16. I double checked. The low beams actually stay on when the high beams are activated.

You can use Alfaobd to adjust those settings to keep the low beam from dropping

Mine are factory projector headlights
Morimoto HID low beam
Morimoto LED high beam
Morimoto LED fogs " you can barely see the yellow on the ground because of how bright the HID/LED combo

I sure hope it's not much

I have HID low, 9011 High, Morimoto fogs, Alfaobd foglight dropout disabled and all 6 of my lights illuminate

Idk how much it’ll actually be because I never went from HID to LED before but shouldn’t be too bad. I’m guessing it will be the same output but not as intense. Im hoping I’ll be able to
use my auto high beams again without street signs shutting them off

They are supposed to be 100 percent plug and play yes. But they haven’t shipped out yet so I can’t tell you that with full confidence but Morimoto puts out high quality products so I’m not worried.

If you can let me know. I have the one bulb housings and I know from past experiance that the wiring from the two bulb set up won't work in my situation.

If I’m not mistaken I don’t think they have the harness for your style headlight. It just gives you an option for quads or projectors. You may have to contact jeremy at the retroshop and ask him if he has a conversion harness for you. retroshop.us

I wish this post came out sooner I would've not wasted my money on LED lights for my projectors...bought a set of BrightSource lights and VERY disappointed in the output. The guy from the store talked me into them saying they were great. Go HID is what I'll be next time.
