I have a 2023 Ram 1500 Warlock. The rake is 3" in total (the rear is 3" taller than the front) i.e., Front measures 37.5" and Rear is 40.5"

I want to level this truck and figure raising the front 3" inches will do this, yes? Simple math says yes, some peers say no. Will a 3" front lift be too much or will 2.5" give the targeted leveled appearance?

Do you have the Bilstein 4600s or the regular black twin tube shocks from the factory?

I am running the Eibach Front Coils on my truck with the Bilstein 4600s. Gained somewhere between 2.5-2.75 depending on how I measure. Paired that with some basic mevotech TTX control arms since I was rebuilding the front end.

I can pull hub to fender numbers later if you need to compare. My rear is lifted, but it measures close to a lot of the newer warlock specs IIRC. Pic to give you a visual reference.

This is going to seem like a completely ridiculous question, but oddly enough I am receiving different answers for what seems so obvious.

I have received a few answers such as:

- "Yes, of course raising the front 3" will make it level."
- "No, raising the front 3" will overshoot your target and the front may appear higher than the rear."
- "Ignore the 3" math, you only need 2.5" lift in the front to get the leveled appearance."

Here are some factors to consider before sharing ya'lls answers or experiences:

1. Let's not get into the +1" Warlock lift elaboration, we're simply seeing if 37.5" + 3" = 40.5"
2. I do not want to raise the rear end at all.
3. Comments about the "new rake" or "how the rear will look with a load" after a front lift is already noted.
4. Wheel and tire sizes are excluded from this inquiry.
5. I plan on upgrading the shocks, struts, control etc. to achieve this front lift.

Following the last factor above I simply want to make sure I order the right parts to achieve the right leveled look, and not waste time and money because I should have went with a 2.5" front lift instead of a 3" front lift (and vice a versa).
I don’t have a warlock, mine is a 15 Express, so to have mine look level the front has to be a little lower. The hood is higher than the bed, so a true level measurement wise will look nose high.

The “level” look is really personal preference. But simple facts are…with these rams, when the wheel wells are the same height front and back, the ass end looks like its sagging. 3/4”-1” higher in the back looks like a nicely leveled truck…of course, in my opinion.

I would highly recommend using a floor jack to simply jack up the front of your truck till the fender heights are the same. Then take 20 steps back and admire your now squatted truck.

Or, at least use that tactic to determine what amount of added lift YOU want to get your truck at the height YOU want. Raise it till the fenders are same height…step back and look, if its too high lower it a little…step back and look…and keep doing that till you determine what height it is that give you the look you really want. Its free and simple to do.

Dude, you win. This is exactly what I was looking for and never would have thought of that. Much appreciated!

Bilstein 5100 or 6112, don’t use spacers. Your warlock has a 0.7” factory lift which is equivalent to bilsteins set to 0.7”. Your rear coils are also approximately 0.7-1” higher, Trx4, outdoorsman and warlocks all used this lift. So if you set the bilsteins to the max (2.8) you’ll only net about 2” which should pretty well level your truck, but like mentioned you should do some testing with a floor jack first.

If you set the bils over 2.8 you should really upgrade to an angle correcting upper control arm like JBA or Zone. Having used both myself I would definitely go with JBA.

I have a 23 1500 Limited with 35x12.5 tires and I added a lift kit but was sure to maintain a 1.5" rake for the reasons others have already mentioned plus didn't want the rear riding low when I'm carrying weight in the back.

Like olyelr said the level look can be slightly different for everyone and I would definitelty take his advice to determine the amount of lift you want. Good luck!
