so im trying to figure out what lift i have?? i have a 2000dodge ram 1500 4wd and i saw it has 3inch blocks in the rear and red springs in the front other than that control arms are stock and no trac bar drop... but somebody told me some rams came like that from factory, if i had to guess a 2.5inch lift

Well the red springs could be skyjunk///I mean skyjackers. Old skyjacker stuff was red.<<I had a set...once.

3 inch rear blocks...does it have a "foot" cast into it to catch the bumpstop? If it does, those are factory.

You an usually get away with a 2 inch lift spring on the front with stock arms and trackbar. That's about the max. It'll level the truck.

yea my blocks have that foot on them..i main reason for wanting to kno is i wanna add a leveling kit on there to bring the front up to level but i also dont want to stress the front end out bc im not planning on buying longer control arms just 2inch level and a trac bar drop if i could

I bet the previous owner just painted the front springs to give it some flare. If your truck says off road edition it has stiffer springs to simulate a lift. Do your rear blocks look like this?

My blocks do look like that but it doesn't say offroad edition anywhere and if they painted the coils they did an awesome job

Well...If you indeed have aftermarket springs ( skyjackers are powder coated hence the durability) you really have maxed out the stock front suspension.

To go any farther I'd really recommend some kind of aftermarket adjutsable track bar system and some longer control arms. If those springs are 2 inch lifts, they moved your axle back and over towards the right frame rail about 3/4 of an inch.
