Got a 18 ram bighorn with a 8.4 6 speaker. Trying to put in a LOC ik rear speakers. But I need a better wiring diagram. Need to find a acc+12v and a ground. Trying to put it in behind the radio so I don’t have to run near as much wire.

An AMPPro is a much better interface for adding aftermarket amps than the LOC. No bass roll off, keep factory chimes and nav and, it is plug and play.

Got the amp pro. Do you know on a non amplified truck. Do you have to have a amp for the factory door speakers. Cause I’m mainly wanting to just run the sub right now will I can get a 4 channel amp.

Amp is required for the door speakers after installation.

Yes, the AMPPro "converts" the base radio to think it is the premium version for amplified systems and the front speakers will not work. So you will need to run an amplifier for the door speakers.

Ight. How do you figure out what size amp you need for door speakers.

75w rms per channel is good for most applications particularly if you plan to upgrade those speakers. The crossover points are usually between 80 to 100hz so you might get away with giving the factory speakers that much power. If they are getting overpowered, they will make a popping sound as they bang hard against their excursion limits and will eventually blow. If they are getting to much power, you can gain match (lower the gain) to the speaker or increase the crossover point. If you want to improve your sound, I'd upgrade to good speakers that can handle the power. So for a basic base system, 4 channels at 75w and 1 sub channel at 300w is what I would go with
