Looking for a good hemi tuner/shop

What’s up ram fam. Need some suggestions on a really good tuner for a 18 ram. So the truck is currently prochargerd with full exhaust on a jay greene tune. He is loaded with work and is down sizing at the moment. I am in the process of getting a built 392 for the truck and looking for a good tuner who can tune and set me up with a cam for setup. I am located in Baton Rouge la. Any help would be appreciated.

Ryan Hogan of Flying Ryan Performance /FRP has a good rep tuning boosted Hemi's and can set up you up with a cam specific to your needs.

Im in South MS so this interest me very much. You mind me asking if there is a reputable shop down here that specializes in mopars? Looking for someone to install a cam but easier said than done.

I know they have mopar mike in slidell but I always heard his work is good but I’m no sure if he does his own tuning or not. I’ve always done my own work and always had jay tune my trucks.

Thanks for this info. Called and got a quote for cam work. Yes he does tune.

If you don’t mind me asking. How much did he quote you? I called injected Engineering and got a quote of about 8k. Whole package

Well I talked with Jay again and man is he great. He went ahead and did a custom cut cam for me and He’ll tune it. Even though he said he was hella busy. I feel so much better going through him for a cam and tune then any of the shops I spoke with.

Yeah I would definitely prefer to go through Jay but so far most of the shops won’t install other camshafts than theirs. I’m guessing for markup reasons which I get. Are you installing yourself? I wish I had the space and or time because I want to. With the detailed instructions from this forum and ram fams help I think I could do it. The only thing that makes me nervous is the timing stuff. Good luck with your install.

Yes sir I always do my own installs.
It’s really not that hard and timing is pretty simple. This form And the guys on it are great. I can’t speak on shops but Atleast when you do it, you know what your putting in.

Where is he located? Are you referring him as a tuner or install shop? As far as tuning I currently use Jay but thats good to know there's another reputable tuner out there just in case.

To be honest I haven't looked too much into him. I was referring to him as a remote tuner like Jay. Boosted motorsports on YouTube recommends him and uses him for all his tuning and I believe his word. I also like the fact he doesn't just tune hemis. Has plenty experience in it but the fact he tunes other model engines makes me feel better that he would be able to pick a problem out better or know tricks from other engines that may apply to the hemi platform.
