Heyas,

I'm thinking about upgrading my stock intake to an S&B kit (Item #: 75-5064D), but then I saw this: https://www.ramairhood.com/store/Scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=146. I love the look, but not willing to purchase if the system couldn't be utilized. Anyone actually have one of these power hoods AND an S&B kit in tandem? Match made in heaven/hell? Hmmmmmm...

Funny, I was going to pm you about this post :) Well, that does sort of stink since I was "wishful thinking" the hood's underside could somewhat match up to the top of the S&B and still utilize the S&B intake ports...best of both worlds :(

In all honesty, I went back to look at more pics, and I think it will be very close. Worst case scenario, the S&B will function like normal pulling air from both the fender and the downward scoop. Then just leave the clear lid off the top, and any extra air from the hood will come in from the top. That is alot of fresh air making it to that filter...even if it does not seal flush against the hood.

Those are my thoughts almost to a "T". I'll have to ask both companies for measurements because if they are close I could probably fab something on either end in terms of a seal (without looking like a complete disaster under the hood lol). Thanks for the input, much appreciated!
