Unbroken I appreciate the quick reply and I will be looking forward to seeing your new link bar and panhard setup. I'm thinking about taking them back off and putting graphite and the synthetic grease on them and see if that works.

Why is Mcgaughy not providing the correct part in the first place? Or why are resellers selling kits they know won't fit without modification?

Just seems kind of sketchy to me to have to grind that out.

I'm not sure. It definitely would have made the install faster.

New pictures. I think the rear has finally settled in however the Spohn bars are squeaking again and it is real squirrely in the rear since I installed them.

This is very wrong. Something is wrong.
Did you get all the links or just the panhard bar?

They should have removed some of the slop of the factory setup!

Urethane bushings squeak...it's the nature of the beast. If it's acting funny are you sure you didn't overtighten something and blow a bushing out? Look around the outer lip of all the bushings and make sure none are torn. If you don't grease them up enough and overtighten them they'll tear.

The squeak went away for awhile with graphite and synthetic grease but it is back again. Still looking into building a set of bars with heims just not sure how long a heim would last.

Very nice!

I did this to my 05 4x4 back in 08. Lowered it with McGaughy's 4x4 kit, and had to notch the spindle to allow the lower control arm to fit.

And as you can see... she was a very great 4x4 even after the 4/6 drop.

Bumping an old thread. What did you guys use to cut the hole in the spindle? Mine should be here today and I'd like to get them on this weekend. I thought about drilling holes for the corners and using some carbide burr bits I have.

Nevermind, spindles came in and are already cut out for the lower control arm...saves me a lot of work.
