Mevotech UCA question

Needed new upper arms, seemed like a lot of people were having good luck/saying good things about the mevotech arms.

Anyway, I ordered a set of arms, and they showed up today, and I’m a little puzzled/concerned.

Can anyone that is running mevotech arms, confirm that the ball joints are only held in via press fit?

On the arms I received, there is no snap ring on the under side of the ball joint to keep it from backing out of the arm. Just wandering if this is normal?

Same arms just different joints and bushings but yes press fit

Only want to pull things apart once, so I’m waiting on a few more parts to show up before I do the install.

Due to a parts mix up with the axle shafts, I decided to go ahead and install the arms even though it means that I'll have to pull things apart a second time once the correct axle shafts show up.
Installing the arms took me about an hour from start to finish, and was straight forward and easy.

hardest (not so much hard, just took a while) part was getting the upper ball joint nut off. Because of the shape of the RC knuckles, and not having a 1/2" universal or wobble extension, I had to use a box end wrench to remove the upper ball joint nuts.
