more audio trouble !!!!

im going to use the 400.1 amp and go with 2 - 10's they are 4 ohm single voice coil.
and hook them up like this ....

i hope my amp can do this set up ? the amp rms is 200x1 at 4 ohm mono and each sub rms is 250.

and yes i have a aftermarket HU . 7" touch screen

not hearing back from Joe is probably not due to what you said to him. I've read a lot where people have complained about how long it takes him.

right with 2 4 ohm subs you will get a 2ohm load at the amp which will then push 400x1

you gonna go with a ported or sealed box?

99% of the time.

When you hit 88mph........some serious **** happens. Amps will then push 1.56 gigawatts more than they normally do!

**** i need bigger subs then . i thought i could put these polks in at 275 rms and feed them 200 rms at 4 ohm load with this amp ?

now im back to pushing a 2 ohm load ??? im sooo lost

no those subs will be good because technically each one will get 200 watts.

hearing back from joe at fox is like hearing froma old friend i sent him a email months i means ago with ?'s about a fox box then i bought one locally of a guy i found on dt, then emailed him again still no answer...its been how long since i got my fox box?.....good luck with this set up dave....

that just means that it won't go to 1ohm.

a 200rms amp with a 250 rms sub is a bad combination. you always want your amp more capable than the sub. A 400rms amp will have to work wayyyy less hard to power a 250rms sub than the 200 rms amp. Think of it in terms of potential energy. A 200rms amp will be giving 100% all the time, which creates a lot of heat and its really hard on the amp. A 400rms amp will only work about 60%, producing much less heat and overall better sound quality

i found a set of tens that are 250 rms ... alpines ?? are they better than the polk's at 270 rms .

i know im trying to see what is a good sub thats 200 rms . its hard to find one thats 200 rms . and i have never owned alpine dont know if they sound good .
