MPG - Canadian or US

Hi all. Just wondering if the mpg rating on the dash is in Canadian gallons or American gallons. Just wondering since my truck is in km/h if the fuel consumption is based on a Canadian gallon (0.83 of a US gallon)

I thought if the gallon was referenced in Canada it was the Imperial or UK Gallon ( 4.546 Liters). The US Gallon is only 3.785 liters; this is one reason why we see higher listed MPG for cars on Euro sites. You should be able to switch the readout to metric then do the math to figure out which Gallon it's using.

To take it a step further, it is actually 3.78541 litres per US. gallon
