Exactly what I showed. Nothing more and nothing less. I did not say I got 22 mpg every day all day. I said 70 mph on cruise. Simple. 38 miles or 5 miles.OK, your trip was 38 miles and 48 miles. Wow, that is a long trip to show
your numbers. That is easy to get when trying, but worthless in the real world.
Lets see a minimum of 1,000 miles, better yet 5,000 MPG
numbers.
You just reset your trip meter, show us a photo of before that..........
I know that will not be forthcoming.
I was just pointing out a whopper. Not sure why you would even post this.........Exactly what I showed. Nothing more and nothing less. I did not say I got 22 mpg every day all day. I said 70 mph on cruise. Simple. 38 miles or 5 miles.
Your reading something into my Post that I did not write. Why do you care. Especially since you think it's invalid.
Getting another ass whooping.Keep up the good work..You will go far here.I was just pointing out a whopper. Not sure why you would even post this.........
On my post the 17.1 is lifetime for the kilometers to date, though at 694 kilometers even that isn't a whole bunch. It does show pretty consistent considering it is a mix of city and highway. Why does the computer in the center RH gauge show 17 mpg? Is that the rest of the tank reading or lifetime?
I get a similar fuel economy as you with my EcoDiesel depending on what trailer is being pulled. Yeah I can squeak +28 mpg out of the truck if I set the cruise at 55 mph on mostly flat roads. From someone who's fuel economy seems to be stuck in the low 15's, you're able to achieve what I can only dream of.
I’ve never had my mpg improve a supposed break in period.I have 2021 1500 Longhorn, 5.7 etorque and 3.92
I GET LESS THAN 15, Even on a run.
4,500 mls. Mine had better improve. Can’t get worse, right???????
Try doing it with the actual numbers of mileage versus how much you actually put in the fuel tank. I've never found that using real time numbers matching the read out on the screen. It's like the guys who run out of fuel but it said 100 miles before empty. The truck is now 2 years and 5 months old with just over 20,000 miles. Mileage Per Gallon has slightly increased.
At 2 months and 2061 miles. Cruise Control at 70 MPH. MPG was 22.0 See Pic 1
At 2 years 5 months and 20469 miles. Cruise Control at 70 MPH. MPG was 23.2 See Pic 2
Both trips were on same Interstate 20 in western SC.
Combined Highway/City is now 17/18 An increase since new.
Floor it fun factor still there No MPG documented.
Just an FYI.

That would make sense. High wind resistance=reduced fuel economy. But I've seen my best fuel economy when driving through Montana at 70-80 mph. Speed limits in my area are 60 mph and below. And not much city driving.I get a similar fuel economy as you with my EcoDiesel depending on what trailer is being pulled. Yeah I can squeak +28 mpg out of the truck if I set the cruise at 55 mph on mostly flat roads.
Speed is usually what clobbers fuel economy dealing with the aerodynamics of these trucks that resemble a brick, that gets compounded when pulling a trailer.
I think quality control at RAM is lacking, seems the mileage is the roll of the dice. My 2021 Rebel with V6 Etorque, driving extremely conservative, has once got to 18, it’s usually 16 or less. According to the sticker and sales, should be 19/22/24.Awesome, good for you and the mileage. I too get decent mpg with my Ram...
V6 works harder, my parents have a 16 cc 2wd. My truck hits 2200 rpm going up some hills the v6 hits 2700rpm sometimes 3 with a strong wind going 75 to 80.I think quality control at RAM is lacking, seems the mileage is the roll of the dice. Only reason I didn’t get the V8 was for the Mileage.
