I have a 2024 Rebel 5.7 hemi and I’m getting under 14 mpg city and 16.5 mpg highway, these numbers are way under the sticker numbers . Is there something I can do to increase mpg?

remember, those mpg's being displayed are the average mpg. If you come off a stop and go high traffic area, then hit the highway, it's going to show low mpg until it averages again.

when i get on a straight open road or highway, i use the cruise set then hit the OK button to zero out the mpg. Sometimes it'll show almost 23 mpg with a steady drive. I find that OK button makes me feel better about the mpg's with a Hemi

The Mpg for your rebel is normal especially if you have at tires. if you want closer to the window sticker mpg you will need street tires. I get the same Mpg in my 21 warlock with at tires

You have a HEMI ;)
We didn't purchase them for fuel economy (respectfully said).
What's your gearing, too?

If it's 3.92... she's going to drink more fuel at highway speeds.
3.21's are better highway trucks, but if you tow/haul heavy, and/or have bigger tires... 3.92 is the way to go, and fuel economy be danged!

Your sig also indicates a 2024... it does take some break in to optimize ones engine and driveline. When you've got 5 to 6 thousand miles on her... it will get a bit better...

Just remember to change your oil and filter, and consider going to a premium synthetic oil and synthetic media oil filter, too!

Move to somewhere warmer and install conservative highway tires.

And, most important of all, mind stomping the skinny pedal.

Plus, everything CanuckRam1313 said. The mileage with my Warlock sucked for the first 1.5 years because of the new engine breakin period and I bought it in January.

1.5 years... rookie numbers for distance.... :)
I just turned 6,500Km's on my new Warlock yesterday and I'm only on the precipice of 8 weeks of new ownership lol....

EDIT
But yes, tires also make a huge difference, too.
I run a great Michelin highway tire for my summer set up and when I switched over from my previous BFG KO2's I gained almost 2mpg back...

But...then I lost it because..... I drive a HEMI ;)
Granny mode isn't really in my vocab!...lol

Check Fuelly and site that people track real world MPG of their vehicles. Last I checked the RAM was in the 15mpg range.. my trucks lifetime (65k miles), hand calculated mpg is mid/low 15's.. and I'm mostly hwy miles.

^^Ditto^^. Though I would drop the oil at 1,000 then go full synthetic on filter and oil and drop again at 5 K then do 5K OCIs and rotate tires every 5K also IMHO

Ha! Love seeing how high I can get only to plummet right back down to reality.

The picture is cruise set, AC off, flat ground and .028 inches above sea level. As good as it gets in a single cab.

I can get 22-26 ish straight flat but then I got a CC with 5.7 and AT tires. Reality I be in the 20-21 mpg at 70 mph flat sometimes Cruise on. But hey normally highway is moving 80-85 mph and on a Hemi be down to 16 mph at them speeds.

best part is the hemi gets the same mpg as that new engine they're putting in.
BEST part is, MY 19, I am in possession of the Pink Slip, NOT got any now or later $800 a month payments plus, LOL.

That's almost exactly 6 months of mileage for me.

I'm retired and living a more leisurely existence than you, apparently.

I'm finished with life in the fast lane, just chilling now.

You need to cover up that 16.1 mpg average on the next pic, lol.

I can pull over 30 mpg out of the wifes 6.4 Challenger on a decent drive, while she's lucky if she gets 22 mpg out of the car on the same drive,i've given up trying to tell her how to drive for milege,as all it does is bite me in the rear, lol.
