Good Morning,

I just bought my first Ram two days ago, 2009 Laramie. The navigation is showing that I am nowhere near where I actually am. I checked the settings and found that I have 0 of 16 possible satelites. I registered with Sirius and Uconnect and still do not have an accurate location. The XM radio works so I know it can get a signal. I called the dealership and they can't get me in until next monday. If anyone has any suggestions, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Hmmm. Sounds like they haven't fully activated your account, or the unit is unplugged from the Ant.

Either way, it sounds like you'll have to wait, unless you are really tech saavy. I would wait and not mess with it. If you can't, I would call the Help line for new members and see if they can walk you through it.

Being a used truck, no telling what is going on.

My 2011 came off the lot brand new with a bad antenna. Same thing, Sirius worked fine, GPS said I was in another state.

My 2014 had the same issue. First day I had the Nav activated it worked normally. Next day it showed I was 100+ miles away. Dealership said there was a problem where "it wasn't activated properly". They fixed it in about an hour. Works fine now.
