So after I took the tape off those wires that were in the harness that went into the transmission I felt them for flat spots and or exposed wire and nothing seemed off about them I put the connector back in the transmission and replaced the 20amp fuse #57 and took her for a ride. I got 30 miles into the drive and didn’t blow the fuse or go into limp mode. I’m pretty sure that is where the short is at and I know it will blow again and go into limp mode at some point. I’m going to buy some exhaust wrap and wrap each wire individually then put them in wire harnesses loom and then go back one more time with exhaust wrap and hopefully this will work.

I had a similar issue with my 2014 1500 Ecodiesel. It turned out to be a bad ground wire from the transmission as shown in this YouTube video... It's a long video and a little painful to watch, but this was exactly my issue. Good Luck
