Want to see if anyone can offer some suggestions as to what might be wrong. When I hit the brakes, I can feel a slight up and down motion in the brake pedal and can kind of feel the same thing inside the truck. It's odd... there's no vibration or pulling to one side....just this strange feeling...almost like something is out of round causing it. I have newer wheels with no damage....brand new tires and just installed bilsteins up front, but the problem was there before the new tires and struts. Anyone else ever experience this? Driveshaft issue maybe? Warped rotors? Again.....it doesn't pull to one side and it doesn't have any vibrations. I just know something is going on with it...hoping someone can respond that maybe had this same problem.

Truck has 47K miles on it..brand new tires, just aligned....

Thanks!

Sounds like warped rotors. I've had that come up in trucks a few times over the years. Being in a 2500 I don't know how long the brakes on 1500s last. Have you ever done yours? When mine got a bit out of round it was much more noticeable when it got warm out and/or I was towing and really working the brakes. If I remember right I had the front rotors on my 06 Chevy 2500 turned twice. I'm at 80K on my 2014 Ram and they seem to be holding up okay. So, rotors could be your problem but also might not be. Having them turned is pretty reasonable cost wise as the modern machines do it with them on the truck.

I was thinking maybe rotors too. Of course, I'll try the fronts first. Just NEVER felt something like this before.....just know something isn't right. I can get some new rotors and pads on put them on in an hour or so. Thanks for the responses!
