Hey guys, I need a little help figuring out what's wrong with my windshield washers...they worked fine the other day but last night, I hit the washer button and only the right side squirter is working and it is barely hitting the windshield! The left side squirter is not spraying at all! The pump does run and sounds normal and the reservoir is full.

So, what could the problem be here? I hate to take it to the dealer even though I have an extended warranty...still looking at $100 deductible for wiper *******! Any help is greatly appreciated!

both the ******'s are piped in parallel to each other. The tubing could be clogged or linked. The reservoir and pump is located behind the driver's headlight

I'll bet the nozzles are plugged. Take the hoses off of them & see if the washer fluid comes out of them at a full stream. If not the hoses are plugged, if it does it's the nozzles.

Hopefully it's just nozzles...it's weird that they went bad almost overnight. Youtube says I would have to remove the grille to service the washer pump! If it's just the nozzles, the hardest part will be removing the hood liner.

When I bought my truck a few months ago I noticed the washer spray barely reached the window. I opened the hood and after I was able to get under the insulating blanket the hose closest to the washer motor was just barely hanging on thus reducing the pressure to both nozzles. Slipped it on all the way and presto.

I would start with checking the nozzles... They're cheap anyway. My 2011 chrysler van had them both fail recently... The plastic was super brittle and they both broke in pieces when I tried to remove them. Cleaned the broken plastic bits out of the hose and plugged the new ones in.

Pull the hose off the nozzle and try it. If it squirts out of the hose, leave the hose off and blow out the nozzle backwards with a air gun and replace the hose and try it. This has worked for me on a couple different vehicles.

I do have an extended warranty until 2024 but it has a $100 deductible. If I can't figure it out, I will bring it in! Thanks!

I had the same problem. My left side wouldn't spray. I pulled the hood liner back and found the nozzle broken. It just disintegrated. We had the same thing happen to our 13 charger at work. Garbage nozzles. Stupid expensive from the dealer too.

The good news is they're pretty easy to replace. I would recommend replacing both at the same time.

That's exactly what it was! The driver's side nozzle was broke and the tee was just hanging. As soon as I touched the nozzle tabs with pliers, it just exploded! In the process of getting the left side out, the right side nozzle stem broke as well so I did replace both...I was going to anyway. Paid $28 for a pair of Doorman nozzles at Autozone. Easy fix once you get the hood liner off and remove the debris from inside the hose fittings!

I'm starting to think i've got a bad one on the driver side. the spray pattern is really off. sounds like this is an easy fix. thanks for the recommendation.

How do you get the nozzles off of the hood? I tried looking at mine tonight, but it was starting to snow again so putting it off until the weekend when I can have some daylight to better see what I should be doing.
