New 2013 ram r/t, what performance upgrades to use?

Just bought a new 2013 Hemi Ram R/T, will not be installing a blower and will prolly keep the exhaust manifolds and most of the stock exhaust, what muffler to use and what other bolt-ons give the best bang for the buck?

This is my third Hemi Ram and I extensively modded my 06', just want to know what works on the new ones. Thanks, Dave

I know they tend to get bashed a lot... But I LOVE the Delta Flowmaster series 40. An amazing sound, mild at idle and wicked during acceleration. No drone and barely noticeable when switching to 4cyl eco mode on highway.

I kept the resonators on and stock pipes.

Single 3" in and dual 2.25" out

$105 for my local shop to weld it in

R/T already comes w/ high stall TC and 4.10 gears, so i'd go magnaflow on muffler and honestly do a catback, maybe high flow cats, and a tune and call it a day if you're not trying to get too from from oem.

I personally wouldn't do a catback, pipes are already stainless and have a nice diameter already, just do a muffler swap and call it a day.

I like my Flowmaster Super 44 but most guys on here go with the magnaflow. IMO its all about the sound youre going for as each muffler size/brand will have a different tone. There really arent many mufflers out there that you will see a noticeable gain from so pick whatever you like. Other things on my short list if I were in your situation would be a good intake such as a Vararam or S&B and a tuner. Bullydog has tunes out for the 2013s and Diablosport is almost there. All together those mods should wake your truck up nicely and are all simple to do and not overly expensive.

do the muffler swap a cai and ported throttle body...after that do a lowering kit....stock height feels like its lifted...lol

For my money, Magnaflow has a great deep, mellow sound. The stock pipe is 3" so no need in replacing it. Truthfully, for the money, CAIs don't add enough IMO. Maybe just a drop in K&N....

Lots of folks like the ported TBs also. Your truck should be a blast to drive! Have fun with it.

Vararam intake, Moe's 87mm throttle body, Magnaflow muffler (14" if you want loud or 22"-24" if you prefer just a slight increase in sound over stock), catch can, and a tuner. These 5 simple mods will show a noticeable increase in power and mileage, and the truck will sound great as well. Right now the only tuner available for the 2013's is the Bullydog GT Hemi Plus. Diablo is still working on their 2013 tuning.
