I just upgraded from an Flowfx to the https://www.borla.com/products/proxs_3_center25_dual_19x4x95_muffler_part__40349.html
Also got rid of the factory y- pipe rerouted it past my transmission which equaled lower transmission temperature also.
I immediately noticed a more responsive truck had them both done at the same time so can't say if it was the Y pipe reroute muffler or both.

I have 2 borla proxs mufflers. I want to re route away from tranny I have a x pipe so true dual in a sense

This is the exact muffler I want. However, I would have it professionally installed. I know that price varies, but about how much would a simple muffler install run? I don't want to do anything else other than replace the stock muffler. A quick Google search shows prices ranging from $70-$200!

A muffler r & r in canada cost me 160. i'm figuring 100ish in the US

I paid $350 parts and labor for rerouting y-pipe and Borla.

Fijicorey......Every time I swap out a muffler it costs me about $90 labor. There are less expensive shops around, but I learned my lesson. Not sure what your area charges, but sometimes you can get a better deal if you buy the muffler from the shop that installs it. I usually buy my muffler then take it in for installation.
