I know this has probably been talked about a lot but what is a good tire you guys suggest running ? I am stuck between nitto mud grapplers and km2 but hear they both wear down fast. What are some other great options since the nitto cost $2100.

I second the Toyo MT's they are made like large truck tires in sections so they are rounder and more balanced than other MT's if that makes sense. I've seen guys go 40k miles on these before.

Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ's. Brother ran them on his 3/4 ton silverado and got 50k miles and could have gotten more but traded it in. Thats what I'm getting when the time comes. A guy he worked with got 60k out of his on a reg cab silverado no joke

Lots of buddies of mine run km2s, and they swear by em. They look awesome. Run great off road, mud, rocks etc. a little loud but not awful. and idk about tread life...

I'm looking for something to help reduce tow sway (stronger sidewalls) nd have been recommended Michelin LTX MS2s but I can't figure out what load rating they are.
The Nitto Dura Grapplers look great but it seems they're terrible in snow which is 6mos a year up here.
Nitto Terra Grapplers seem like the best, most expensive bet with additional sidewalls. They get mixed reviews but with 20" we have little for options.

Tires are like women, the harder you ride them the quicker they wear out. I get more mileage out of my tires then anyone I know because I drive like a grampa. In fact that was my nick name even though I was twenty when I drove a truck. Toyo has a couple options, and according to my tire guy (Les Shuab) have a smooth ride for the size. I think he was recommending the M series. I think he said the cost was close to your nitto's though.

I say Swamper SSR. Got 36,540 on mine right now. They'll make it to 45k no sweat. I rotate and align every oil change so thats what 4 times.
