I’m sure they will sell well but I got that itch scratched after owning my 03 Ford Lightning Pickup for 17 years so I’ll pass.

I get that it is kind of "special" 305s, Supercharged, etc... but it is still a $100K Bighorn. I'd get a SST HO Tungsten and put the tuner on it, be just as fast and WAY nicer.

For me getting a new tradesman in 19 and installing a procharger kit has given me the most bang for the buck. I have had 42k of success so far. Can’t say that about any other car or truck I’ve ever owned.I would do the same today if it has some unfortunate disaster befall it.Love that hemi!IMG_1315.jpeg

Not a fan of the gold/bronze stripe down the side. But it is still a Big Horn. And doesn’t have dual power seats.

Add the package, without the stripe, to a Laramie. Or make it optional on a Laramie or Limited. May then think about it.

I would like the power. Just don’t need the off road abilities of a RHO or TRX.

The whole sticker package is horrendous. The colors don't compliment the paint, the matte just makes the shiny doors look massive and ruins the visual proportions of the truck. They've drawn the eye to the most boring flat rectangles present and made them look even bigger.

The black on black on black tiny ass sidewalled wagon wheels make them look even smaller and out of proportion.

The white one is the only one with a modicum of visually interesting design, and it's still the one you pick when you're drunk and just don't want to go home alone at 3am.

I'm not a huge Shelby F150 fan at all, but even they look clean when compared to this atrocity.

They make both the lowered Super Snake and an off road lifted version:

It's the Raptor alternative for guys that wear a too tight Ed Hardy t-shirt and a dookie rope.

Define "nicer". I'll take my "loaded" bighorn with a v8 over a blinged out Tungsten pushed by a weed whacker any day. No offense. We're just built different.

I don't know how guys who use their truck for truck things aren't bothered by the abuse of working a truck, all that sh|t just breaks quicker. I can hop in my truck and not care about the little smudge of grease on my paint leg when I bumped up against my trailer hitch. Or about losing 1/3 of the value when I accidentally pin stripe it while backing into my camping spot Etc etc.

My truck is a truck.

But I don't think those SC hemis are for me either. They're not built for it, if you want forced induction then you're better off going hurricane or hellcat where it's designed for it from day 1.

And I agree with your other statement... a bighorn with a hemi + SC for $100K is NOT worth it. What, suddenly a $50k truck has a $49k SC and $1000 kiddy sticker on the side? They haven't learned a thing.

That Ford needs some chrome and less stripes, those broken up front-end stripes just look odd, IMO.

No way Jose, am I going out and spending 100k on a truck, Biggyhorn, Tungsten whomever, whatever (applies to GM and Ford also). My 2019 Biggy sits out front, gets dirty sitting, and was unda 50K and is paid off. All that added nanny boo boo and bling BS. In the end, a truck is a truck. I can pull what I want for what I own, a 14' stock trailer, I can load what I want in the bed, and if big stuff, since I have a full tonneau, just hook up my stock trailer. Let my non E-junkola Hemi do what it do.

Just my situation, and all IMHO.

DAS BOIRD.

It's why I don't get a Corvette and I'm taking my Camaro to a suspension shop to get some tweaks done to the adjustable coil overs. I can't drive it half the year or I'll drag it's guts out.

I agree that the nanny BS and possibility of some schmuck being able to shut your car or truck off because of a variety of reasons is definitely making a 24 my last purchase and may regret that too.

I’d rather have a unlocked pcm and my choice of blower 30 k and it’s doing great IMG_0254.jpegIMG_0311.jpeg

There's still a few new cars without drivetrain OTA update capability and without onboard driver monitoring. We're getting a Wrangler over a Bronco largely because of that, despite my distaste for Stellantis customer service and a complete lack of faith in their warranty.
