I think my trail grapplers were better in the snow. I’ll be switching back aver these are done. Wish the trail grapplers had white letters

Yeah I e only had them on 1/2tons though. So in all fairness the comparison isn’t equal.

Love the light upgrade. The fogs are a huge improvement. On to my next thing I want to eventually do. So I'm going to lift the front an inch in the next couple years. I'm guessing I'll need to have longer shocks to do so. If I want to replace the shocks sooner than I lift it, will that be a problem tossing that longer shock in there in stock form?

longer shocks let the driveline hit the skidplate crossbar so youll need to cut and reweld it or maybe theres something aftermarket

haha I'd love to spend it all. One of these days I'll toss more into it. The next thing I'll probably be doing is replacing that drag link with the good one and doing front and rear diff covers from AEV.

actually I see the regular 2.0s accommodate for up to 1.5 inches of lift so that'll be perfect anyways. Does anyone have opinions on the reservoir ones vs non resi? I kind of want the resi ones on the front simply because they look cool. back I don't see anyways.

doesnt matter what springs you use. longer shocks let the axle drop to far and hit the driveline on the crossbar. it shouldnt be a problem if you never go offroad but if you forget youll bend the driveline

I’m confused. So everyone who levels their 2500s uses a stock length shock?

Depends on the kit. The RCX Leveling spacer I have came with shock extenders to retain the stock shocks without over extending them.

The problem with those is they dont come with bump stop drops, so it is possible your shock will be the new bumpstop.

True. But if you are offroading with your truck then a shock extenders isn't a good option

I’m guessing if I purchase fox for a stock setup I won’t have an issue
