Not gunna lie I still don’t understand how they give it more lift seeing they are basically the same length as the stock ones. Haha. Guess the coils are thicker.
spring rate is the answer.

How are you enjoying the ride difference? Happy with the investment?

Yeah it’s definitely more controlled. Main motivation was a bit more height and to replace the track bar.

Tossed a new 3rd brake light on. I rather like it. Should I caulk it or anything to prevent leaks or is the gasket enough. Haven’t had an issue with my oem one.

did the new light come with a new gasket? If so, you should be ok. Its just the OEM gasket which sucks.

On my old 1500 i had the leak. So replaced it with some stuff from Home depot. I think it was for the bottom of doors, or something. Worked like a dream.

well I got a steal of a deal on some fox 2.0s from a forum member but the front ones **** the bed I see so I just got some fox 2.0's reservoirs from Thuren Fabrication. I wonder if since they weren't valved for their springs that that might have had something to do with it. Who knows. All is good now. Just need to wait for them to get here.

More than likely is they were not in spec for the coils.

Kind of my thought. Plus now I'll have a better warranty through Thuren if they **** the bed.

thkbaron did you ever receive your fox shocks with reservoirs? Im very curious about them. Im fixing to order some new wheels and 37's for my truck. Then I am gonna put new springs on. Just not sure I want to spend the money on Kings and have such a long wait time.

Yeah I got them. I’m not using thurens mount though. You have to cut a lot of the wheel well liner out to use them. I ordered fox’s billet mounts. I’ll attach the reservoirs to the main body. Here’s a pick just zip tied for now.

I also don't have a very good comparison for you. I was running regular non RESI shocks before and I don't notice a ton of difference but it's mostly pavement too. I'm sure kings are worth the money but honestly I think people spend that much money because of the name. Now this opinion is for a normal daily driver. If you are racing your truck or actually using the thing I'd say they are probably worth the money. I always upgrade my stock shocks to something different. Dodge's are notorious for having terrible shocks. In our case, we had Bilsteins stock so the upgrade probably wouldn't be as noticeable.

Thank your sir. Im more of a slow rock crawler than the high speed stuff. Thats why I think Kings are not for me. Plus that long wait time. After you put some miles on them please post up more of what you think. I really dont see many postings about the Fox's just the Kings. I dont mind spending the money but I really dont want to **** it up a tree for what I am doing if you know what I mean.

If you mount them this way anyone just be careful of clearance on your frame tires etc. I personally like it better than on top.

So you are running 35’s with thurens springs…can we see a side shot of the whole truck? Do the 35’s look teeny?
