You are going to want some colder plugs (NGK 4306's). I would also look into a set of headers because your factory manifolds are going to choke the system on spray.

As far as internal motor mods, many guys have run up to a 150 shot consistantly without any trouble. You need to be careful with spray though because 1 quick mistake and you could easily have a ball of flames coming out the top of your hood.

Make sure you get a bottle heater, nitrous gauge, and preferrably a putge kit when you order as well. You will need the heater to maintain correct bottle pressure, and without the gauge you wont know where your pressure is. As for the purge, using this will prevent you from only spraying the air that collects in your nitrous line after each use.

Zex 82176 Hemi Dodge Truck Nitrous Kit.. 75-125HP | eBay

this says the kit maintains the bottle pressure itself so would i be good in that department?
also is a bottle warmer a must? My dad used to have a 2002 camaro z28 with a 150 shot (dry kit) and he would just soak his bottle in a warm bath for an hour before he hit the track lol.

That kit monitors bottle pressure and adjusts your fuel accordingly, but it does not include a heater to keep your bottle pressure high enough to make the most of the kit. Even if you use a heater to get your bottle pressure up to 1000psi, it is going to drop fast as you use it. After 2 passes down the track, you would be lucky to have 700psi left in the bottle if you dont keep heat on it.

The ported TB will help you, but is not something you need for nitrous. If you are going to be getting a nitrous kit, then I would use that $300 on the bottle heater, purge, and gauge instead of the TB.

Zex offers a racers kit that has the heater, purge, gauge, and blow down tube for $300.

Curious who told you that and why? I sprayed my 03 with only 25k miles on it, and there are quite a few 11's and 12's that are runnig nitrous without any problems so far.

My father in law. He has owned and operated his auto garage for 27 years, so naturally since he does all the work on my truck, I took his advice

I have never heard that before. I dont see why using nitrous on a newer motor would be any different than using it on a motor with 100k miles...unless he just told you that so that you dont risk damaging a new truck? Either way, many guys have run nitrous on these truck with low mile engines without any problems. Be smart about how you use your nitrous and make sure you have the supporting mods I mentioned earlier (heater, gauge, purge kit).

It is a custom Diablo tune. A custom tune will help, but it is not a neccessity. There are tons of guys that spray with canned tunes and many that use nitrous with stock tuning. A custom tune will always make things better, but it is not something that is required for nitrous. Its also hard to get a custom tune for nitrous without being on the dyno and having the tuner write your tune in person. If you are worried about air/fuel ratios, it is very simple to swap out nitrous/fuel jets to get your air/fuel in a safe zone.

It does. BTW, I just picked up a supplier for ZEX, so I will be adding the same kit and the racers kit to the site later today. I can save you a few $$ off the price that was posted in your link earlier ;)

My main concern was how hot some of the 93 canned tunes are already and if he went to big on the spray jet and not enough on the fuel jet its gonna be lean. A CMR could pull a few degrees back till the jetting is figured out then bump up timing to match. That being said could run a lower tune setting and keep running the 93 fuel. Whats your view on that Matt? Been eye balling a system at the shop for awhile now and never gotten up the gusto to install it.
