Look very close at the size of the oil holes in the head gaskets to,lol. They really messed up when they redesigned the block in 09,as they could have easily put the VVT tunnel above the cam instead of below it. Upping the idle rpm to 750 or more does help as it flings more oil around the inside of the crankcase,and some of that oil still does make it past the vvt tunnel and onto the cam,not as much as we'd like,but better then nothing.The Johnson lifters with axle oiling have the best rep,but i have yet to run into anybody who's put a 100,000 miles on a set,to see how their life expectancy is for long term use
