Thought I'd say hello after lurking for awhile. I'm currently shopping for a TV. And trying to stay within a 1500. It's a bit of a challenge, but with my math I think I have it narrowed. Just trying to find one with the options we want, (crewcab, leather, 3.92, 4x4, 1480lbs or more payload.) It's been a little tough.
I keep thinking a bigger truck is a no brainer, but I want to make the lighter truck work.
Anyhow, we're going to be towing a lot. As my wife and I have sold everything in our house and the house to travel fulltime in a 27ft Airstream.
I've been a life long chevy guy, matter of fact we currently have 3 GM's I'm unloading. Pontiac G8 GXP, Corvette and my lifted Trailblazr on 35's.
Saddly, the Silverado's are unimpressive. They're boring. Beige is a word I'd use. Snooze fest. I like all kinds of cars, despite the brand loyalty, a friend let me drive his 2013 Sport around for a couple days and I was in love.
I just love the look of the car, the hemi doesn't hurt. And if I do end up with a larger truck (stupid math) the cummins is probably the best choice.
Well.... Cheers.
