WOW! I have 51K on my Ram and wouldn't think there would be that kind of build up. I have to gas up tomorrow anyway so I'll get a bottle of redline and start on it. Question: What interval is it to be used at. I change oil every 5K? Also is it safe for the cats?

I went crazy with SI. 1 bottle(15 oz) EVERY fill up and have gone through about 20 bottles so far. Never skip a bottle when filling up gas. Also always use Shell 93 V-Power Nitro. The vehicle is at 245,000 miles now and the engine has been an issue with oil consumption since it was brand new. It is safe for CATS and O2 sensors.

Funny story…..,when I worked at Mitsubishi we had a customer who was using oil and the dealership could never figure it out. Finally, after an engine tear down, it was discovered that one of the cylinders was missing a ring. It left the factory short one ring

I looked at some videos on You Tube. Anyone see these motor internals on these videos? They look like these people change their oil every 30K miles at best. I know at 51K on my truck it doesn't look like that doing oil changes every 5K. Also, there is this loudmouth Scotty Kilmer who bad mouths everything including fuel system cleaners and other products. I think this guy even hates the sun when it rises in the morning. Anyway, I'll be putting in the Redline in the tank this weekend and per the directions I'll give it another bottle at the 3K mark on my recent oil change I did last week. Sound good guys?

On the rare occasion I click on a Scotty video I pause it and set the speed to 1.5x. That way at least it is amusing.

For what it's worth, I've tried the single jug of RL Si-1 per tank on a couple of vehicles, several times in the past with no noticeable results.

After experimenting with higher concentrations, I've observed less acceleration delay and a perceived performance improvement that makes me want to drive my truck more often.

I'm still riding the wave from my Springtime application of 1 bottle of RL Si-1.
Like some previous years, I haven't yet switched back to 87 octane, still enjoying the performance with 91.

The regular 87 octane is selling up here for about $1.75 to $1.80 per litre.
About 3.8 litres/US gallon or $6.65 to $6.84/gallon.
If the top tier 91 octane is only $2.00 per litre or $7.60/US gallon, I may as well enjoy the driving more.
If I were to take a long trip, I'd likely choose the 87 octane and perform another Si-1 cleanse.

Most of us are familiar with Scotty K and his silliness.
He has become like clickbait for those who seek drama.
I would take anything he says with a large block of salt.

Yes it was a few years back redline or 66 developed this line up, the SDS here. I don't think redline would have done this on their own until 66 bought them. Somewhere it says 2026, but I reported this many years back in syn thread, I don't remember if it had intake cleaner. On the SDS it says 2023 revision date, so it's been around a while.

Now, your results are incredible and kinda follow what we know. We know that sea foam through vac lines is effective. But if you ask me the redline intake cleaner appears to me to be much stronger then alcohol based sea foam. So your results are incredible, a game changer. I would say you might not want tpo use harsh chems if you can avoid them on an usual basis, but with results like that once every few years I'd jump on that boat. Did redline just kick sea foam **** with this? Daniel just set this thread on fire!!

Now this isn't PEA, but when you put 100% onto piston top anything with work, a harsh solvent will wipe that top clean, man great work.

Just take the ether part out, there ya go, it is a gas that can be put under pressure and is water soluble, thus able to mix with xylene and other nasties and "propel" them. Compare it to sea foam, I will post both SDS to see if redline has a real advantage.

When I looked at sea foam engine treatment, it is just propellant for that version and perhaps naptha or mineral oil and alcohol. Redline has some strong solvents and is no joke. We never looked at this product before. It says safe for "coated" surfaces, but doesn't say safe for vac lines. I'd be putting it straight into throttle body and into burn chamber that way. I wouldn't want to suck this threw vac lines. I would bet it would clean much better then sea foam which we know works.

Here is the instructions, they have a best and an acceptable method, mind this was built for shops so make it easy for those who take the easy road, but I'd opt for "best" procedure.

Mind you sea foam you can do anyhow you wish, but you don't want this stuff in vac lines. Thanks Daniel for bringing this up, looks very professional type product not your general mild stuff fore the masses.
