Well I recently went against my personal policy to never work on my on truck. I bought a tuner and PCM from a member on here and tuned my truck. I was switching PCMs to go back to stock and I broke some ****.

Currently, my truck powers on (engine doesn't run), but it thinks the transmission has an issue. My key is stuck in the ignition and it's telling me to not shift out of drive, which it's actually in park.

Negative is undone from the battery and I'm sitting here hoping that fixes it.

I believe the issue is actually that I forgot to undo the battery when I unplugged the PCM, because the connector is flush and locked in.

I also want to add that I have nothing against the member I bought everything from, he had nothing to do with the issues I'm having. I think I'm just more gorilla than man

You can still get the connectors off by moving the latching teeth up and down with a blunt pick or small screwdriver. I bought some replacement latches on ebay.

Yeah I figured that out. Any ideas on the transmission acting up? Like I said, the negative is unplugged and I'm hoping that works.
Also, I would appreciate the link as well.
Thanks

I would replace the stock PCM and see if the problem persists. Keep battery disconnected of course.

Connector including half-clamshell is below but I don't see any on ebay. You can also buy them from Mouser or Digikey.
