Anyone else have this go bad? 2016 ecodiesel with 94,000,miles. Got a check engine light and I checked the code. I told the dealership what the code was and then took it in. They charged me $99 to check the code again (surprise, it was the same code I told them) and then said it would be $500 to replace. I thought that was high so I called my local shop. They quoted me $175 and the dealership had the part in stock so they were going to get it from them! First time dealing with the dealership, doubt I'll be going back for any repairs. Rant over...

Mine went out at 12000 miles 2014 5.7 very easy to change . I added a tee fitting and braided line to go to a mechanical gauge that I mounted for real peace of mind. I know what my oil pressure is for certain now.

Man, even 175 is high for this. I'm not 100 on the eco diesel, but this is usually as simple if not more simple then a pcv.

My oil tesensor on my 14 went bad at about the 20,000 mile mark, not sure if the Hemi and the little EcoDeisal use the same sensor, but when i replaced mine, there was an updated sensor for it

Not sure of the cost of the sensor but the oil temperature sensor is definitely easy to get to on the EcoDiesel. Its right on the oil filter/cooler assembly on the driver's side of the motor.
