One touch up/down problem

My windows have gotten to where the one touch up and down feature works intermittently. I assume its a common problem since the last 2 trucks I have had, had the same issue. My question is, whats the fix for this? Is it a switch problem? A program issue? Windows still work, just don’t always go down/up with the one touch feature.

Yeah, I did that, but it isnt a permanent fix. Just wondering if its a fault in the switch, and if it would be worth it to replace the switch, or will it be one of those gremlins that pops up a short while after the new switch is installed.

How is it not permanent? How often do you have to re cal them? It maybe in the controller module inside the door, the switch just starts movement then the controller sets the latch unlatch in the circuit.

Usually a couple times a month. Seems to happen when the truck is off camber like when entering the highway from the deer lease or going up the driveway from the mailbox.

Have you ever disconnected the battery then did the calibration? Resetting the module maybe helpful.

I took mine in this week and was told they would have to charge me $135 just to diagnose the problem. That’s crazy to charge that much just to look? Loosing confidence in this dealership fast. They charged me a $100 for a “4 wheel alignment”? How do align the rear wheels on a solid axle?? Never gave me as found or corrected angles on any of them either, how can you prove nothing was done at all other taking my money.
