I read this thread start to finish and got done at 3 am this morning. I need more!!! Really though when I got back from wherever I work next I wanna try building a pillars and sales because of your thread. And try to build a fiberglass sub enclosure for 2 12s. Right now leaning towards Sundown shallow mount 12s but I'm sure it will change by the time I order. Anyways can't wait to see what you do to the jeep. Even if its not as elaborate as the ram.

Awesome man, go get.

Over the years I've read countless threads and saw amazing work that just made me in awe and wanna just get up and go do it. That's how I've acquired whatever skills I have now. So for me, the best compliment I can get is knowing I inspired someone to get up and go do something they've never attempted. Thanks dude, now go do work!

When I start the build I'll post a link and a few pics here. Not sure mods would enjoy me turning this into a jeep thread, and I'd hate to have it closed.

I still regret getting rid of those amps actually. No match for the zed but great little amps. Plenty of power in a really small footprint and if ur running passive, I couldn't think of a better amp since they have built in x-overs. I actually looked for some to put in my jeep. Hard to come across 2- 4 channels at a decent price now tho. I wouldn't hesitate to run them again

Was that 4 channel jbl digital enough to power the 8s in the door and components? Would it have been better to run 2 of the 4 channels at 2x200 instead of 4x100? Just to make sure you had enough power for the 8s in the doors?

Also what did you put in the back doors? 6x9s or nothing?

Depends on the 8s I guess, but I always like more power. The Dyns were power hungry, that's why I wound up running 2 of the 4 channels.

I didn't run any rear speakers.
