Have a 2012 Ram 5.7L Hemi 4x4 ST quad Cab.

Original owner purchased the tow packaged, 3.92 gear ratio etc.

But I also noticed on the build sheet it reads under optional "left front spring, left rear spring, right front spring, right rear spring". But no other info

What would that be referring to? Beefier upgrade for payload ease?

Thanks

You didn't know springs are an optional item ? :p

Actually I was wondering about this as well and I think it has to do with the fact that modern vehicles have dozens of different spring rates depending on engine, chassis configuration and options. The build sheet is generated from information stored somewhere on FCA's computer systems which likely has the exact spring numbers a particular truck was build with but they omit the details.

Depending on the engine, cab size and/or trim level the springs will be different.
