I went with stock size G2's, XL's. Minimal road noise from what I can tell.

Simpletire has 20% off nittos right now!!

Interesting, I pinged Discount Tire for a price match, we'll see if they match.

I've never actually ordered tires online - do you get a bunch of flak from the tire shops when going to get them installed, etc? Will they still offer you road hazard and such if you bought from online vendor instead of them was one of my concerns...

I went with the G2’s. Now I’m not sure on which side to face out lol

My local Discount tire matched the price, so I grabbed a set of Terra Grappler G2's, 35x11.50R20LT's for $240 a tire :D. Should be here Monday or Tuesday, so by mid next week I'll be on new shoes. I didn't really need tires yet, but was getting close so went ahead and pulled the trigger.

I had initially planned on getting 285/65's, but the overall diameter/width is essentially the same, 34.5" x 11.5", plus the 35's have a tad more tread. And bonus I don't have no furry metric #'s on my RAM lol

What is the largest G2 size I can run with my stock 20" rims without any lift or spacer modifications?
Any pictures of that size mounted?

Good Luck with the G2's Yellow dog. I had the Ridge Grapplers on my other Heavy Duty. I'll be putting another set on my Newer Heavy Duty. I found they have very little road noise and wear well. They do not throw allot of rocks like the KO2's I had previously. I really liked the extra armor on the side walls, especially when I have to jump/rub a curb in town cause I did not have room to get the heavy duty around the corner. I bought the Grapplers for my camping off road and liked the traction, especially in the Winter.
I can't speak for the G2's since I've never owned them.

I currently have 35x12.5R20LT Hercules Trail Digger M/T’s (pretty loud) and am trying decide between getting the Nitto Trail Grappler, or BFG Mud Terrain KM3’s. And, possibly moving up in tire size to 37x12.5R20. Thoughts? I seen ratings change from 121Q to 126Q and obviously 37’s are heavier but just curious on others opinions.

Truck is a V6. It sees a lot of highway mileage. Concerns are noise and performance. The G2’s are 1.5lbs lighter. Going with 305/55/20. Any thoughts?
Curious why 305/55's? Had a set on my 2016 R/T ( took off the 22" wheels and tires - ran way to rough for my liking). Also had Nitto's, did not like the way they handled or rode - have a thing about ride and 55's are starting to get you down to the sidewall just not being wide enough to help cushion the roadway. Went back to the ones I like best, used on five different RAMs and like their combined ride, tread wear, low noise, etc. BFG Rugged Terrain. Great tires. Went to 275/70 20s.

Also had General STX's - WalMart specific tire in the 255/275 70 20 sizes. These are really good on wet roads and medium back road surfaces. Anyway good luck with whatever you decide on.

I’m on stock Goodyear’s now. I’ll be gaining a slight amount of sidewall. From a 33” to a 33.25” tire. I’m more than happy with the way my truck rides now with just Bilstein to level the front. I hope it doesn’t effect the ride too much.

Got the Nitto's installed today - as mentioned before, I went with 35x11.50R20's. Thunderbolts out, of course :). Installer mentioned they balanced super easy, hardly any weight required. I chose the narrower 11.5" due to keeping stock 20x8" rims, plus keeps them tucked in reducing mud, dirt, gravel, etc getting thrown up on the sides, hopefully.

Rides great, hardly any noise or hum/drone. So far I'm pretty happy with them.

Looks good - I considered the Ridge Grapplers as well, I went back and forth in my head but decided on the Terra's for the treadlife warranty and my limited off road use these days, mostly just towing a boat down a dirt road every once in a while or sandy fishing spots ;).

You going to regret the ridge grapplers for highway driving, noise and stiff riding. They look great, not for highway driving. Just sold my ridge grapplers, and got a set of general grabbers ext, night and day difference
I have ridge grapplers on my 1500. At highway speeds (70-80) I don’t even hear them over the radio or conversation with my wife. Ride is a little stiffer than stock, but not enough to mention. I’ve put several 4-6 hour road trips on them already with no complaints.

To each their own. I couldn’t live with those grapplers on the hi way
Not to mention the drop in mileage
