Truck is a V6. It sees a lot of highway mileage. Concerns are noise and performance. The G2’s are 1.5lbs lighter. Going with 305/55/20. Any thoughts?

I have the G2's and love them.... didn't notice any performance loss and they aren't noisy on the highway. I went with 295/60/20 and they have a mileage warranty too.

You going to regret the ridge grapplers for highway driving, noise and stiff riding. They look great, not for highway driving. Just sold my ridge grapplers, and got a set of general grabbers ext, night and day difference

x2, I wanted the ridge grapplers or stt pro's and the tire guy talked me out of it after telling me I wouldn't be happy with them on the highway....

I ran G2s for a couple years. First at 305-50-R20 then up to 35x12.5. I found them to be a good tire... until it rained, and these tires had less than 5K miles on them. I could not get **** for traction. I slow-rolled out of a stop, run a Detroit TruTrac LSD... nothing but a soup sandwich. Last July I just upsized to Ridge Grappler and bumped up to 37x12.5s. This is a FANTASTIC tire. Better traction in rain, tears thru the mud/dirt, better looking (very aggressive) and surprisingly, even quieter than the G2s. I highly recommend the Ridge Grapplers.

I have the G2's and I have not had any issues with traction, road noise is very minimal and they handle just fine.

I should qualify... I run 4.56 gears, LT headers, tune, performance exhaust and Pedal Commander on supersport. All of that was on when I ran G2s. Maybe I am just too much a leadfoot. :driver:

I have the Terra Grappler G2's. I agree you can easily break traction on wet surfaces, BUT, they are supposed to last for 50K miles, that is the trade off. It's not big deal to me because I "bumble" along when I drive, so I just take it a bit easier in the rain anyway. I don't notice them on the highway at all.

My vote is for the Nitto Terra Grappler G2. I just put a set on my truck yesterday. e03c57fc14073bb548f9faa6676f8725.jpg
