I had read plenty of other threads on here discussing different issues related to EVAP system and how it's hard to diagnose each code/problem. I had never really found a thread that directly talked about or listed the part that solved the issue for me and wanted to share my experience. My truck is a 2014 Ram Big Horn Crew Cab Hemi with a 6'4 bed with around 43k miles. I started having CEL issues and read to replace the purge valve solenoid on the top of the engine for a cheap easy fix. Replaced it, no luck clearing the code and keeping it away. Then replaced the Leak Detection Module on the top of the gas tank and again no luck. But finally read to replace the fuel vapor sensor on the line next to the filler neck on the gas tank. Replaced it with this part https://www.americantrucks.com/crow...sensor-1118-ram-1500-excluding-ecodiesel.html and have not had any issues in the 2-3 weeks since. This is with a mix of city and highway driving and temps in the upper 60s to low 20s. Just wanted to pass along this info to possibly help someone else.

Hey how has this worked out for you since you've done it? Has the CEL stayed off?

Sorry I don't get on here much and check notifications. But yes so far it has stayed off (knock on wood). It's been approximately 4 months or so since I replaced the part listed above.

I've been meaning to change the leak detection pump next. Did you replace the hoses connecting the pump to the tank as well?

No I hadn't changed any of the hoses on anything. I just changed the purge valve solenoid, the LDM on the gas tank and finally the fuel vapor sensor.
