P1524 code no check engine light

A few weeks ago got the check engine light with a P1524 code. I checked oil pressure, in the low 40s PSI. I changed the oil pressure sensor and reset the codes. Check engine light cam back on with P1524. Check engine light is now off, but the reader still shows P1524. Oil level is good. Starts normally and runs without issue. I'm supposed to take a 180 mile round trip with this. Should I be concerned and postpone the trip until I can get this figured out? I do plan on changing the oil, going to try LiquiMoly with Purolator Boss oil filter.

What engine?

How long has it been mileage wise since you changed the sensor ?
Did you change the oil at the same time ?

p1524 could also be a restriction, or act like it
If the Light should come back

I will be a tight fit, but try a bigger filter
