My 2016 2500 turbo diesel particulate filter regeneration process will not complete. Drive per instructions in owners manual. Multiple 45 minute continuous hwy speed driving trips. Continuing to show in process. Any ideas or thoughts as to fix?

New EGR as of Sept 2023. Regen process has occurred once since with no problem—approx 3-5 min drive time. Codes P2463 (particulate filter accumulation) and P242f (particulate filter). Only use diesel #2. Never have used bio diesel.

If you have a good working EGR, no air intake leaks, working exhaust sensors then as I mentioned above you may have to pull the DPF an get it cleaned it out due to it being packed with soot that a regen can not get rid of...

Copy. Got it in the shop for that very thing. TY... I see you are in Forest Grove. My grandfather graduated HS 1934 from Forest Grove HS. Had a farm in Yamhill (my uncle runs it now). Was up there with my Ram earlier this month. Take care up in the Willamette Valley!!
