New to this page and my first post so sorry if I'm posting in the wrong area.I was changing out my LCA and CV shaft and intermediate/stub shaft today on my 2007 ram 1500. Problem is when I was taking out the 4 bolts that hold the stub shaft seal 3 broke. I was unsuccessful at welding a nut on the broken bolt stub and unsuccessful at using a bolt extractor.
So i replaced the seal and just put the one bolt in. The seal when i pulled it needed to be pryed out. So I'm thinking one bolt would be enough?. What are your thoughts on this?
