These are the bomb. Screws down in the little tray above the radio and provides a place for suction cup or magnetic mounts. I use the triple to hold a dock for my iPhone and the other 2 spaces for the magnetic mount for the trailer camera when towing. Works great.

I use one of these on the above mentioned Bayou Goat mount. Easy one-handed docking / undocking and it works great with Carplay.

super cheap, took and old CD case and cut a circle out that is 1/8" bigger than the suction cup pushed down. some 3M tape and holds like crazy. I also ran a hardwired power cord. Stong enough to hold the GPS.

This is what I use. Works perfectly, no holes to drill and rock solid. And the holder is phone specific so no annoying clamps

I ordered one of these for my 1500:

However, it was amazingly difficult to find a good location for that clamp to mount on. I ended up taking the clamp apart and getting rid of it. I used a piece of plastic electrical conduit to mount the goose neck into a molded hole that is under the rubber liner of my center console. I like the goose neck b/c I can position it right where I want it. Eventually, I'll poke a hole into that rubber liner and paint the conduit black (or red) to make it more permanent. (Can you tell I have a fear of commitment?)

You won't be disappointed. Very well engineered and rock solid. I run an Iphone XSMAX in an otterbox Defender case and the cradle for it fits it like a glove. You can adjust the tension for it too. The cradle is on a ball mount with adjustable tension as well. I can easily angle it with my hand but their is absolutely ZERO vibration like cheap mounts.
