I got three deer with my 97 dakota, after the first one I bought a steel bumper with grill guard, and the last two didn't do any damage. Here in MT the Deer, Elk, and antelope out number the humans by 3 to 1.That could prove useful...
Those colors are Sharp! I had a sidewinder step rail on my last truck, the ****** thing didn't do well in snowy country. it would get frozen muck on it and was treacherous! wondering if you have the same issue? And yes, I am jealous of the upcoming bike ride! My brother in law, and I plan to do as much of the eastern T.A.T. as we can in two weeks, minus driving time to/from.Loaded with motorcycles and heading south, just in time for another winter storm to roll in...

That just makes me say BURRRThis one is my old truck, from 3 years ago. Drove into NH in a snowstorm. Took it easy, these trucks are very sure footed in the snow with decent tires and reasonable speeds.

That's not an all bad thing, when they're not cutting you off on the road that is...I got three deer with my 97 dakota, after the first one I bought a steel bumper with grill guard, and the last two didn't do any damage. Here in MT the Deer, Elk, and antelope out number the humans by 3 to 1.

are you required to put those one by's ontop, or did you just have a long way todrive to dump the load?
set for FUN!!
I'd rather have something over it. "Unsecured load" is frowned upon, and for good reason I suppose. I do stamp it down tight, so it probably wouldn't put up much fight if the wind got under a piece the right way. I have had a couple close calls in the past, so unless it's something like 80lb bundles of shingles, I don't haul much these days without something holding it.are you required to put those one by's ontop, or did you just have a long way todrive to dump the load?
Them's some big stones!
